you know how sometimes there's something you really want, but it's not something just anyone can give you?

and you hope and you hope and you hope.
that maybe it won't have to be something you have to ask for, because you've gone and convinced yourself the person wants to give it to you?

and you hope and you hope.
and when it doesn't come and the person is gone, you still hope that maybe he will come back with the thing, that he really wanted to give it to you but for some reason didn't?

and you hope.

but sometimes there just isn't enough hope to go around, and you finally realise it Isn't Going To Happen. and that's when you realise really you are Stupid and a Fool.
